Size Matters Trial and error

I have this in a 46G and it fits comfortably but I have to have it on the tightest hook. It was recommended that I get a 44H so I would have room to tighten the band with more wear. ( I was told bigger cup also equals bigger band which didn't make sense to me) While the cup fit fine the band was VERY tight. This one will be going back. Thankfully I have been wearing my first bra for 6 months and it has had very little stretch/has held it's shape well. Now I did order one of the posture front close bras in the 44H also and it fits great but it has more band stretch than this style. I highly recommend trying various sizes because different styles require different sizes. Sadly just going off of measurements doesn't always work.

When it comes to sizing, you’re right that adjusting the band can sometimes feel tricky. Whenever the band size increases or decreases, the cup volume changes as well. That’s why a 44H was recommended — the 44 band would give you more adjustability over time, and the H cup has the same volume as a 46G.

I like the bra, but the sizing was wrong. It stated it was a 42F but actually it was a 40 F in size.

I have bought bras from Glamorise before and this one is the same size 44 DDD. It is 4 inches shorter in the band than others.

In Glamorise sizing, the equivalent to a DDD cup is an F cup, which may differ slightly from other brands. Additionally, the band size is designed to stretch to the correct measurement when worn, rather than measuring true to size prior to being worn. Depending on your comfort preference, it may sometimes be necessary to size up in the band for a better fit.
