Occasionally, hooks can arrive slightly loose from the manufacturer, and gently pressing them back against the fabric can sometimes help. When front hooks continue to pop open, it can also be an indication that the fit isn’t quite right. Extra movement across the front can put stress on the closure, even if the band doesn’t feel tight. In some cases, trying a smaller cup can help reduce that movement and allow the hooks to stay connected more securely. The poking at the top can also be related to fit, especially if the wire or center area isn’t laying flat against the chest.
