It sounds like this particular style had several fit and comfort issues that made it unsuitable for you. The thin cup construction without adequate lining can definitely be uncomfortable, especially when combined with lace that feels scratchy against sensitive skin. Additionally, when the band runs small by two sizes from your normal fit, it can make the entire bra feel completely wrong.

Sizing can sometimes vary between different styles and constructions, but running two sizes small in the band is certainly more than the typical variation you might expect. We understand how frustrating it must have been to receive a bra that felt so different from your usual size and quality expectations.
