We're truly sorry to hear that the band length was over an inch short from what you ordered - you're absolutely right that this goes beyond a "snug fit" and sounds like a sizing issue. While we do note that this particular style runs snug and try to communicate that upfront, what you're describing with the band measurement being significantly off is not the experience we want for any customer.
