It sounds like this bra was causing multiple problems - being too small overall, creating an unflattering shape, and digging painfully into your shoulders. That's definitely not the comfortable, supportive experience we want you to have with our sports bras. No one should have to deal with painful shoulder straps or an uncomfortable fit.

Sports bras can sometimes fit differently than regular bras, and it sounds like this particular style just isn't working well for your body shape and size needs. The shoulder strap positioning and band sizing can vary between different constructions, and comfort is so important, especially for active wear.

As you mentioned, the material is designed to soften with a couple of washes and wears. Our product team has also noted that if the hooks feel a little loose when the bra first arrives, pressing them firmly down into the fabric can help them stay secure.
