The fastener placement can also affect how the bra sits on your torso, and finding the right combination of band and cup size can help ensure everything stays in place properly.

I'm glad to hear that you liked the clasp design, though I'm sorry to hear that the center gore wasn't sitting right against your body. When the front part sticks out horizontally like that, it definitely doesn't feel comfortable or provide the right fit.

That kind of fit issue can happen when the cup size or band size isn't quite right for your particular shape, or sometimes it's just that a particular bra style doesn't work well with your body type. Every bra fits differently, and what works perfectly for one person might not be the right match for another.
