The fit concerns you described can sometimes point to a sizing adjustment. When the cups gap or pull away from the body, a smaller cup size may provide a better fit. Keep in mind that whenever the band increases/decreases, the cup volume increases/decreases along with it, even if you select the same cup size as before.
