    fit was not good

    I followed the measurement instructions but the band was too big and the cups gapped. The quality looked good but the fit just didn't work for me.

Finding the right fit often involves some trial and error beyond that starting point. Based on what you described, a smaller band size may be worth trying. Keep in mind that whenever the band increases or decreases, the cup volume increases or decreases along with it, even if you select the same cup size as before.
